Engineer
Jeffrey Berg is the owner and engineer at Walking Stick Recording. The studio was founded in 2014 and started working commercially in 2018. Jeff prides himself in service to each project and artist’s vision. The comfortable, intimate studio was founded with the goal of bringing more beautiful music into the world.
Working closely with each artist, the goal is to provide the sonic landscape and technical quality that captures the artists intent, while exhibiting the best possible version of each song.
Jeff has been active in the New England blues and roots music community for over 25 years working with The Howl, Ryan Hartt and the Bluehearts, The Eric Ducoff Band, and The Wicked Lo-Down. He also fronts the blues and roots band Night Train. Starting in 2020 with the release of Paul Size’ first solo record Can’t Lose Playing the Blues, Jeff also founded Feffrey Records. Feffrey is a small independent label specialzing in blues and rock and roll recorded at Wlkaing Stick Recording.

The studio is a private space with recording space and control room in one. The engineer is there with you in the same room to facilitate communication.

Stereo Mixing
Have your recordings mixed in stereo and immerssive to capture the feel of your unique compositions
Mastering
If your songs are already mixed, Walking Stick is able to put the finishing touches on the sonics, sequence a whole record and facilitate files for distribution and reproduction.
Instruments
A wide variety, of instruments are available for use: guitars, amps, bases, pedal stell, organ, keys and drums. Or, bring your own.
